History

New River Ranch  opened in January 1988. The Ranch was a former Show Horse Ranch, and was donated by Joe and Sandi Lewis. The Ranch exists to provide residential group home care and behavioral health services to children between the ages of 10 and 18         (at of  time of admittance).                         New River Ranch  provides a structured environment in which the whole person is treated through discipline, recreation, education, social and character development and spiritual guidance. Psychological, Equine Assisted Therapy and and counseling services are provided. A full array of activities are available including fishing ponds.
