Our Environment
New River Ranch, Inc. is a Christian residential program affiliated with the Church of God. We are located in the heart of some of the most scenic portions of West Virginia near Hawk’s Nest Park and New River Gorge National Park.
New River Ranch is a group home for homeless, abused, or otherwise at-risk youth. We offer Level I care for children between the ages of 10 and 18. Our children are supervised by qualified, trained House Parents and engage in a variety of supervised recreational activities. New River Ranch uses horses for both recreation and therapeutic activities.
The Equine Program teaches horsemanship, care and maintenance of another living creature and incorporates horses into therapeutic activities.
New River Ranch exists to provide residential group care and behavioral health services for dependent, neglected, abused and troubled children and youth
